After my mother passed away last April, I felt lost. I was left trying to fill her shoes with the special love and care she had shown my father for the past few years as his dementia progressed. The N.E.W. Curative program was a light in the darkness for me. The people who work here helped my family to cope with our loss as well as appreciate the relationship we can still have with our father. I found this quote and immediately felt it expressed our appreciation to the N.E.W. Curative program and the caring individuals who truly show they care for others in need. "Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrowThank you!

"Two years ago my mom was diagnosed with dementia. Our family first met with Bev Bartlett from the Alzheimer's Association and she got our family on the right track about what to expect with mom's condition. Eventually, we convinced Dad to check out N.E.W. Curative. We all were impressed with the services that were offered. The first day dad dropped mom off at the center, he felt like he was abandoning her. But when mom had such a good time and didn't want to leave, he felt so much better. Our whole family, especially Dad, can't say enough about the center. Dad constantly refers to everyone there as "angels". He doesn't know what he would do without the adult day program, and we can't thank you enough. Mom always loved to sing, dance, and laugh and she gets to do that every day she's there!"

"Having worked extensively with non-profit human service providers throughout Brown County, both during my time with the Brown County Human Services Department and the Green Bay Mayor's Office, I can definitively say that N.E.W. Curative has set and maintained the gold standard for breadth and quality of care. N.E.W.'s employment opportunities for the disabled, wraparound care for a wide variety of clients, and particularly the Senior Service Program which I oversee for the City, have repeatedly achieved outstanding results for the community.

"I am so grateful for the Adult Day Program at N.E.W. Curative. The staff is outstanding, with their insight into each person's needs and abilities. My husband is able to lead a productive life with their help. Since this disease came at an early age I am able to keep working and providing for our college age son and our family with their help.
